The sweetest couple I have met in a long time. I could see the love in the theirs eyes and the connection between their family and friends. Such a pleasure to get to know… and this is why I love doing weddings.

The October Storm came to us as a surprise. Coming from California we have never experience anything like this before. We lost power for 11 days. For the first time Halloween was Cancelled. We spent Halloween in a Hotel. All three kids weren’t phased. As we bounced from hotel to hotel- It was an adventure. We landed at our in-laws where they had a generator. We called it Glorified Camping. Next time we will be sure to be prepared.

Like Mother… Like Daughter… they were so beautiful to photograph. Especially at The Hill-Stead. It was a day made for it. A sunny nature walk through a beautiful well kept grounds made for a beautiful back drop. These ladies were not hard to photograph… as you can see… they made it easy on me:)

I had so much fun out in Collinsville. It was a beautiful fall morning that turned into a summer afternoon reaching into the 80’s. I remember being in School and not given the choice for what picture to choose from for our Senior pictures. How fun it is to be 17 again……

It comes a time in everyones career when you need an upgrade. I have been shooting with the Canon 40D and I wanted to test out the Mark 5D II The Big Daddy of all Cameras. I have only dreamed of the time I could afford to have such a camera. I thought maybe I will rent one to see If I can see, if it is all the rave…. And boy did I have fun….. Meet Naomi…

And her older sister Nicole

And Snickers and Scooby and the Outdoors….

There was a crisp in the air and the laughter was infectious. If I could only get the fluffy white doggy to look at the camera…..

And the kids smiling….

And then there was playing….
